How to enable 2 Factor Authentication

In order to be able to use 2 Factor Authentication (2FA), you need an app installed on your mobile device (or computer) to.

There are a several apps available in any appstore. For example “Google Authenticator” and “Authy” are popular apps to generate authentication codes.

Once downloaded an authentication app, please follow the steps below:

1: Login to passport (https://passport.tvilight.io)
2: Click the dropdown menu in the upper-right corner and click “account settings“

3: Open Google Authenticator (or your favorite authentication app) and scan the QR-code displayed on the screen:

4: When the account is successfully added to your OTP app, Enter the 6-digit OTP code provided by your app into the “code“ field, and click “Confirm and enable two factor“. The page will now indicate to you that 2FA is activated, and gives you the option to disable it again:

5: Now logout from passport again:

6: The next time you go to CityManager, after signing in with your regular username and password, there will be an extra prompt for your authentication token which is required to fill in.
Open your authentication app, enter the 6 digit code from your app, and everything should work.
